Hello readers:D I have had some slight problems with chapters, my computer was taken away because I was up all night and day simply writing. And plus, it would be too suspicious to my parents/family members.
But I'm back! Posting at least one chapter per day, so stay tuned:p
And Fay is a fictional character in the story, based on a true persons experiences/ knowledge. I added her because I wanted everyone to be aware of really how drastic the Syria situation is. This is just a minor part of the destruction happening in Syria, and it's much worse. I interviewed my Syrian friend, so I could have a good point of view for this character, and she gave me such amazing information, so a huge shoutout to her, thank you so much! The idea to do this was inspired by @Vieblogue's story Masque. Such an amazing story, I highly recommend it! v-ie.blogspot.com . And no, Fay is not the real person's name, she asked me to change it for personal reasons:)
Enjoy!

''Sara? Yousef?'' The shocked voice said, taken back in the sight of us both standing there, inches apart from each other
We both turned around, quickly removing my hand from his.
We saw Fay, a girl from my Social Studies class, standing awkwardly in the doorway with a large pile of schoolwork in her hand, along with a large Bvlgari purse around her slim wrist.
She awkwardly fumbled with her hands, her light mocha orbs widening in surprise.
Fay was always the quiet one in the class, and she moved her from Syria at the end of the school year last year.
Her family was wealthy and fortunate enough to have the resources to move out of Syria, and settle in Kuwait. She said her parents didn't want her in such a violent environment, so one night they packed as much as they could and left, leaving their country behind.
I had always wondered about her, and I always yearned to know more about her story and her past, but I never really got a change to speak to her outside of class, and she mostly kept to herself.
She was wearing a long flowing high waisted summer skirt, and a white short sleeve Chanel shirt over a long sleeved white shirt, and a tan hijab framing her face. She was a very simple girl, and she didn't look like someone who would ever cause any trouble.
''Fay!'' I said, distancing myself from Yousef.
''Um, Mr Noel told me to bring these to you, he said that he needs you to complete them by next Sunday.''
''Okay, thank you so much.'' I said. ''Can I talk to you outside?'' I asked her. She agreed and we both walked outside, leaving Yousef uncomfortably standing inside the hospital room.
''Look, Fay, me and Yousef, were just friends. You know that right?'' I said, lying through my teeth. When you really thought about it, it wasn't actually a lie. We both had agreed that we weren't going to be ''boyfriend and girlfriend'', just be friends that both like each other and have a future together. ''Skinny Love'', as Amal called it.
''It's okay, you can trust me!'' She mischievously giggled.
I blew out a relived sigh, and then eyed the huge pile of homework in her hand.
''You can come over to my house on Saturday and I can help you, if you want.'' She said, catching my uneasy glance.
''Really? Fay, that would be great!'' I said, giving her a hug.
''Well here's my number, and i'll whatsapp you the address.'' She said, swiftly pulling out her iPhone from her bag.
We exchanged numbers, and then we went back inside the bright hospital room.
''Hey Yousef.'' Fay said politely.
''Hey Fay.'' He kindly smiled at her.
I explained to Yousef how Fay would help me with the schoolwork I had missed out on, and he relaxed, knowing there wasn't going to be 1000 people in school on Sunday talking about them.
Fay said her goodbyes and swiftly exited the room, and we both looked at each other.
''Well, that was close.'' Yousef breathed, running his hands through his messy hair.
''Well, on the bright side, I finally get to leave this hell hole!'' I laughed.
''I'm so glad you're better. You scared me, I thought I was going to loose you. And honestly Sara that scares the shit out of me because I never want to loose you, because I love you so much. You're my best friend, and you're my whole world. And one day, I want to make you mine.'' He said, and took my hands in his.
My heart was beating through my chest, and I turned red as a tomato.
''Yousef, you know you're already mine.'' I said, looking up at him.
''I've been waiting 11 years to hear that, Sara.'' He grinned.
We spent the rest of the day talking and packing my things, ready to the the hell out of there. At 2pm, Dr Wolff came in and took me to get my final checkup and blood tests. then at 4:30, I was free to go home.
I changed my slippers to some dark blue flats, grabbed my big bag, and left out the door. I informed the nurse that my ''cousin'' would be taking me home, and then we went to Yousef's black Porsche, driving back to my house.
Ten minutes later, I arrived at my house, and felt at peace.
''I'M HOME!'' I yelled, my voice echoing through the huge house.
My father, Mariam, Fahad, Aziz, and Amal walked in from one of the other living rooms, quickly coming up to me and all giving me big hugs.
Yousef came in the house, greeting my family.
I was so grateful, so over-joyed, that I was safe and with the people I missed and loved the most.
I wouldn't have it any other way.
